📏 Sizing Guide:
Small Monofin: For children with shoe size UK 12 (child) or smaller
Large Monofin: For children with shoe size UK 1 (adult) or larger
Note: Size 130 tails (approximately 7-8 year olds) sit between both monofin sizes. We recommend the large size for growing children, as you won't need to replace it - just update the tail as they grow!

Getting In: For luxury tails with side zips, insert the monofin before putting the tail on. For tails with bottom poppers, you can easily insert and remove the monofin without taking off the entire tail!
At the Pool: Put your monofin on right at the water's edge - never walk across the pool deck wearing it to prevent slips and falls.
Swimming: Use the dolphin kick technique - keep your legs together and create a wave-like motion from your hips through to your feet. This propels you through the water just like a real mermaid!
⚠️ Critical Safety Information
Monofins significantly reduce swimming ability. Only for confident swimmers aged 7+ who can:
- Float easily on back and stomach
- Roll from back to stomach and back again
- Swim multiple laps without touching the bottom
- Tread water for at least one minute
Essential Safety Requirements:
- ALWAYS swim with competent adult supervision - NEVER leave children unattended near water
- Children MUST be trained in tail safety and practice removing the monofin in shallow water first
- Use ONLY in controlled environments (pools) - NEVER in rivers, lakes, or moving water
- Stay near the pool edge if your child normally does so without a tail
- Put monofin on at water's edge and remove it in the water before exiting
